A Spirit‑Filled Ministry Rooted in Vision, Faith, and God’s Faithfulness

Hosanna Ministries USA is a Christ‑centered, Spirit‑filled church established in Virginia, built upon a God‑given vision that began decades ago in India and was fulfilled in the United States through the lives of Sis. Anitha and Bro. Prabhakar.

Our story begins in Guntur, India, where both Sis. Anitha and Bro. Prabhakar grew up in Hosanna Ministries under the leadership of Ps. Yesanna garu. When the Guntur church had only five families, their family was one among those foundational five—rooted in prayer, worship, and Spirit‑filled ministry.

These early years shaped their faith, calling, and commitment to serve the Lord.

When Sis. Anitha came to the United States in 2001, God placed a deep burden in her heart to establish a Spirit‑filled Hosanna ministry in America. She carried this calling quietly, praying faithfully for God’s timing and guidance.

In 2007, God brought a divine moment of confirmation.

Ps. Yesanna garu visited the U.S. for a three‑day fasting prayer meeting hosted by the Tamil congregation in Maryland, known as “Tirrapin Vasal Jebam.”   During the two‑hour drive from Maryland, the Lord gave Ps. Yesanna garu a clear vision concerning the future ministry of Sis. Anitha and Bro. Prabhakar in America.

He shared:

• Take 30 days leave from work
• Conduct cottage prayers across major cities from Portland, Maine to California
• God would establish a Spirit‑filled ministry through them in the United States

This prophetic word became the foundation of Hosanna Ministries USA.

Shortly after this visit, Ps. Yesanna garu returned to India and went to be with the Lord in 2012, but the vision he spoke remained alive.

For many years, Sis. Anitha continued to pray faithfully for God’s timing. Bro. Prabhakar hesitated, feeling they had no believers, no prayer support, and no ministry network in the U.S. Yet they waited on the Lord, trusting His perfect timing.

In 2022, God revealed a powerful vision: During prayer, the Lord showed that seven people would take baptism during the First Feast of Tabernacles.

At that time:

• There was no church
• No believers
• Only one family praying together at home

But God was faithful.

They began with one family in their home. Soon, God opened the door to rent a church facility, and during the Feast of Tabernacles 2022, God fulfilled His word—souls came, lives were touched, and the ministry began to grow.

Since 2022, Hosanna Ministries USA has been faithfully conducting the Feast of Tabernacles every year, celebrating God’s presence, power, and promises.

What began with a small gathering grew rapidly by God’s grace.

In 2026, Hosanna Ministries USA conducted its 5th Annual Convention, where several hundreds of families from across the United States gathered to worship, pray, and experience the mighty move of the Holy Spirit.

This growth is a direct fulfillment of the prophetic vision spoken by Ps. Yesanna garu—that God would establish a faithful, Spirit‑filled church in America through this family.

Today, Hosanna Ministries USA stands as a living testimony of God’s faithfulness.
